I find this simple background system ideal for most of my needs, as I can quickly and easily set it up to photograph something really small.....

The Seamless Background Paper is changed very easily - just roll up one roll, lift it off the brackets, remove the support tube and fit a different roll.

Hints on Seamless Background Paper colours: The paper is available in Jet Black, Snow White and Arctic White, several shades of grey and a multitude of colours; which do you buy? Seamless Background Paper is in my opinion, excellent value, but it's not cheap, so you'll probably want only two or three rolls at most, perhaps just one.

If I had to choose one only, it would be white, as I could alter the colour by shining coloured light on it. Mid-grey is very popular with pro photographers also. Jet Black is superb if you want an absolutely dead black background with no texture showing (as can sometimes happen with velvet and other materials). Colours? It's up to you - they can be used creatively with stunning effects.
